A standard from the 1930s to the late 1950s, these box-style service stations could be found across the United States. The convenient combination of service bays, office and restrooms plus the addition of large windows, made these cheerful new service centers popular with the average customer. Although mostly replaced by modern style service centers, some of these box-style stations still exist to this day.
