Northern Pacific "Freight" F3s - 3 Rail

In January 1947 the NP took delivery of five A-B-B-A sets of Phase 1 F3s for freight service. These 4 unit sets were originally numbered 6011-6015, but were renumbered to 6000-6004 in 1950 and remained in these numbers until the creation of the Burlington Northern in 1970. JD's Trains has selected road numbers 6000A, 6000B, 6000C & 6000D for this Special Run. Unit 6000A was traded in to EMD in 6/67, but the other units were all tranferred to BN in operating condition after more than 20 years of service - a testament to the NP's fine maintenance team.

This run is EXTREMELY LIMITED, with only 84 units (combination of A & B units) to be made in 3 Rail, so please place your order as soon as possible.
